Our November speaker is Michael Thiele, Apis Arborea. He will be sharing with us his research into wild honey bees. Michael Thiele and his team are focused on the research, rehabilitation and safeguarding of wild unmanaged honey bees with the goal of restoring their vital role in the ecosystem.

Their research is focused on the wild honey bees at the Galbreath Preserve and 20+ unmanaged, honey bee colonies that live in the trees on the Santa Rosa Junior College Campus.
