SCBA General Meeting
January 12, 2026, 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Location: ZOOM (Link Below)
With short days and unpredictable weather, January and February meetings will be held on Zoom
This month will be interesting as we start off with a discussion with Sonoma County's Deputy Agriculture Commissioner, Alex Nguyen. He will talk to us about the Beewhere Program and why it is important to register your hives with the County.
This will be followed by our Speaker:
Hilary Kearney: Girl Next Door Honey
Topic: Urban Beekeeping
Hilary Kearney (Girl Next Door Honey) manages small urban apiaries all over San Diego County. She has kept bees in all sorts of places from backyards to community gardens to museums. Learn how to keep your bees safe and your neighbors happy in an urban setting.
Hilary Kearney is the author of Queen Spotting, which we often take with us to events and Heart of the Hive, both of which are available in the SCBA Library
