March 10, 2025 6:00 - 8:30 pm
Druid Hall: 1011 College Ave. Santa Rosa
Join us as we discuss SWARMS!
Swarms are a hot topic this time of the year. Historically there are a few early swarms late February to early March, peaking late March to mid April, and continuing into early summer.
But why do bees swarm?
Local expert, Christine Kurtz, will talking to us about swarm behavior, the process go through to prepare to swarm, and how they settle into their new home. Followed by a panel discussion and Q&A with Christine Kurtz (South Cluster and Educator), Cheryl Caletti (North Cluster and Swarm Coordinator), and Roger Simpson (Central Cluster and Swarm Rescuer)
