SCBA General Meeting

Guest Speaker: Tora Rocha, from Pollinator Posse
We are excited to have Tora Rocha, from the Pollinator Posse , joining us at our April general meeting. Tora will be talking to us about creating a pollinator friendly habitat and essential aspects to create a healthy ecosystem in your own back yard.
Tora is an awardee of the Jefferson Award for public service for her work and is an expert in landscape design and gardening for pollinators, with over 40 years of experience. She is passionate about pollinator conservation and healthy eco-systems, which lead her to create the Pollinator Posse, a grass roots Non-profit group of volunteers dedicated to education and outreach about the importance of native bees and how to landscape in ways that protect these important insects.
SCBA’s general meetings are on the 2nd Monday of each month and in person. They are open to the public and a great way to meet fellow beekeepers, bee-tenders, and pollinator habitat enthusiasts. There will be light snacks and beverages, and you are welcome to bring something to share.
