Please join us for South Cluster's Cafe' on Saturday, March 16 th at 11:00 a.m. at the lovely home of our gardening liaison Maryle Brauer in Petaluma. (Address will be sent to registrants)

We'll be reviewing bee math. Bee math answers questions such as: How many days do queens, workers and drones take to hatch? How many days after adding eggs to a queen-less hive before you should expect a queen to emerge, and how long after that would you expect to see her laying eggs? Bee math is a valuable tool for us to understand what's happening in our apiaries. We will also discuss queen mating, record keeping and for our gardening component we will cover seed propagation.

We will also be sharing a Pot Luck Lunch so please bring something to share! If your last name starts with A-0 please bring a savory dish or snack and if your last name starts with P-Z please bring something sweet.

See you there!
